Day Five

READ:  Acts3:1-10

In the ordinary rhythm of life, two adventurers named Peter and John encountered a “man lame from birth.”

Whatever his plight, the man needed help every day to do a job to which no man has ever aspired:  begging.

Peter left his wallet behind that day.  But he freely shared the things which he always carried:
·         grace
·         dignity
·         a hopeful word
·         a hand up

Luke said those who observed the interaction were filled with wonder and amazement.

Who in your life seems endlessly stuck in the same dreadful plight?

How have you “blessed” them?

What do you carry with you to share with others in need?   Does it include what most folks need most?

List actual plights with which Earlysvillians wrestle?

Invitation:
How does God desire Chestnut Grovians to address the above?
